ANNA FITENI | Young adult fantasy
Anna Fiteni is an author from Cardiff. She studied English and Creative Writing at the University of Warwick, before going on to the University of Oxford to complete a PGCE.
When not writing, Anna enjoys travelling, fashion history, and daydreaming about writing. Her debut YA fantasy novel is due out in 2025.

TANIA TAY - CRYSTAL SUNG | DOMESTIC THRILLER / CHILDREN’S
Tania Tay’s debut adult novel The Other Woman won Headline's inaugural Modern Stories Open Submissions Initiative.
Her writing often explores female friendship, and motherhood.
She’s also the author of Spellcasters, a magical middle grade series under pen name, Crystal Sung.
She developed a screenplay with BBC Writersroom, worked as an advertising copywriter, and has an MA in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh.

KENECHI UDOGU |YA SCI-FI
Kenechi is a Nigerian-born London-based writer and architect whose work centres on culturally diverse characters, particularly female protagonists in sci-fi, fantasy and horror genres who stand strong in challenging conditions.
Her debut YA sci-fi novel, Augmented, was the inaugural winner of Faber Children’s Imagined Futures Prize in 2023 and will be published in 2025. Her work was awarded a Highly Commended Text win for FAB Prize 2022 and a runner up for the Writers and Artists Yearbook Your Next Obsession in YA Competition.
She is an alumna of the HarperCollins Author Academy and the All Stories mentorship programme.
She was longlisted for the 2021 Commonwealth Short Story Prize, and her sci-fi short story was published in Dark Matter Magazine.
She loves singing with choirs, and hopes to one day figure out how to hibernate in winter.
